What is the meaning of the word "META"?

Frederick M. Ahl, professor of ancient Greek literature at the Cornell University Classics Department, says "meta is a prefix (not a word on its own) which means "behind" or "hidden". Meta implies the part of something that is not immediately visible, is in the background, but which is there nonetheless and has an effect. We get the word metaphysics, the study of the non-physical universe, from meta".

弗雷德里克·M·阿爾,康奈爾大學古典文學系的古希臘文學教授,表示:「 meta 是一個前綴(不是一個單獨的詞),意思是『在後面』或『隱藏』。 Meta 暗示了某物的部分,這部分並不立即可見,處於背景中,但無論如何存在並產生影響。我們從 meta 得到了『形而上學』一詞,指的是對非物質的研究。」

What is the meaning of the word "MUSE"?

In Greek mythology, the Muses are nine goddesses who embody the right evocation of myth, inspired through remembered and improvised song and traditional music and dances.

在希臘神話中,繆斯是九位女神,她們體現了神話的正確召喚,透過記憶和即興的歌曲以及傳統音樂和舞蹈激發靈感,又常被視為靈感的來源。
